The Altamont Knights boys varsity basketball team won their 2A Central Division semifinal game against B. B. Comer High School 65-57 Thursday night. The victory came against a physically much larger team, but the Knights stayed true to what they do: fast-paced play, excellent passing and shooting, and solid, connected team defense.
The Knights are set to play Locust Fork High School in the AHSAA Regional Championship Tuesday, February 20 at 5:45. If they win that contest, it's on to state semifinals. The Acta Diurna will have more on the boys varsity basketball team's successes soon. Below are photos from Thursday's game, in chronological order:
